I fell in love with the battlefield series playing bad company. The destruction, the chaos, the fun. That game had love and attention dedicated to it and the sequel in my book was one of the best multiplayer games I’ve ever played.
Battlefield 2042 is a mess. It has been designed to capture a market that is not it’s core playerbase. I didn’t think i’d ever say I’d prefer to have battlefields' old web UI interface, but the current 2042 interface is terrible. Don’t get me wrong, it looks great, but it makes simple functions so unnecessarily difficult.

One of the core features of any multiplayer online shooter is gunplay. Battlefield has always been above and beyond much of its AAA competition but BF 2042 is not.
There's probably many reviews that outline how bad this can be, but it is currently unplayabley bad for me.
I hope they fix bullet spread and the seemingly vast empty spaces on their maps.
