Made 10 characters before actually starting playing. Currently in a good and an evil run at the same time, experiencing 2 wholly different stories. No part of the game is the same other than small side quests, but even those can take wildly different turns at times.

Replayability is through the roof and the story and characters are compelling. Can't recommend this game enough even though the game mechanics can be daunting for people who have 0 knowledge of D&D. I would say, if this is you, just try it out on the easiest difficulty. It makes combat easy as can be and let's you figure out everything without punishing mistakes at all. Other than that, just talk to everybody and everything. It usually pays off.
