This was picked up by another dev after the previous one disappeared into the void. The new dev did some backend work and then apparently disappeared into the void as well.

My experience with this game in regards of the grind has been a bit different. Earlier in the the seemingly neverending beta some of the more basic robits were unlocked at a certain pilot level and the more advanced ones were unlocked after getting to max rank with the more basic ones. This system was eventually replaced to what is implemented today. Since I had played under the previous system it felt like I had a head start.

I was curious today (11/25/16) of what the current status of this hot mess was only to find my MC balance at 0 and my Incinerator was missing, and only the Incinerator. Why couldn't have taken the grenadier instead? Grenadier is poo poo :(

RIP Great Bullet Attractor ;_;)7 your w + mouse1 + furious mouse2 be missed

other pros n cons:
+ was good scooty puff jr simulator at one point
- the ability to buy class chassis for other robit classes makes identifying robits at a glance
problematic

5/10 Halo Tickle Robits is ded

1. Do you often lament kids being on your lawn and games these days being too easy?
2. Do you like dying in video games? Like, a lot?
3. Are 8-bit style GRAFIX totally your bag...baby?
4. Do you like making your enemies bleed, catch on fire and/or explode (etc.) upon death?
5. Can you handle a game that tells you it "Sucks to Suck" upon game over?
6. Are you okay with a bit of RNG and procedural generated shenanigans?
7. Do you like somewhat situational and at times difficult achievements that are at the mercy of said RNG/procedural generation?
8. Have you ever zigged when you should have zagged?
9. Have you ever wanted to kill a a vast amount of space alligator people in the name of survival?

If you said "yes" or "a pox on your mailman!" to one or more of the above you should try Risk of Rain!

Edit: Also there's a Co-Op mode :)
Edit: As of now the Steam overlay with this game is sketchy so notifications appear twice, one being normal sized and another being DISTRACTINGLY HUGE. fix this pls :'(

(I would recommend a gamepad for this one.)

Long overdue update: its been updated to 1.04 so all the dialog time skips should stop <3

From the first few mintues you can tell this (vers. 1.02) isn't the patched version that's up on GoG (vers 1.04). The dialog skips in places and upon quitting I was met with a "Septerra Core Fatal Panic" error message. It's a pretty good RPG from the Win 98 era, really. Just buy the GoG version instead of this one until it gets fixed. If it gets fixed.

Also it installed QuickTime Player. Not cool, Septerra Core.
