This is a traditional roguelike with basic core interactions. You fight enemies by walking your sprite into theirs and trading attacks until one of you dies. You might occasionally throw a grenade you found, or use a psychic power you developed, or activate a weapon ability you learned. You must explore the open world to find weapons, armor, and artifacts to add to your toolkit.

It's the world you're exploring that makes this game a singular experience. The action of time has eroded history down to myth, and it's up to you to piece together a coherent context for the things you're seeing. There is an established lore, and a main quest to follow that will lead you to fantastic and eerie places. Overall the game's systems come together to create an immersive adventure that makes you feel like you're in a weird, high-concept science fantasy novel.
