I honestly have no idea how I got 200 hours in this game. It's a cool emergent story generator that creates some beautiful chaos, especially in co op. There's just enough of a strategy element to satisfy my Fire Emblem (TM) -ified child brain, alongside the classic RPG "Make numbers go up" mechanics that keep me playing.

My biggest negatives would be that the UI can be a bit clunky, and sometimes the game can struggle with performance issues during a long-running campaign.

Excited for the DLC to finally let me RP an unlanded peasant. 8/10

I've played every game in this series, but this one could be my favorite. There's a lot of good options for weapons and playstyle, and there's so many unique enemies, even if some of them are copies. The actual core story path to the end is not too long, but the optional content is near 100 hours, not including replays.

The gameplay is so good, it makes people hallucinate a story. My only complaint is that the co-op is a bit clunky. There's thankfully a mod for that, but I don't give the devs credit for community-made content.

Short and sweet, with puzzles just challenging enough to make you think every now and then. The story, setting, and above all humor are really the reasons to play this game.

A cute little game with a lot of content for the price. The controls feel very tight and allow for a lot of skill development as you progress through. The customization and leveling mechanics provide enough diversity where my roommate and I beat pretty much every boss with a completely different build. The game also has a Souls-Esque narrative style that taunts you with the idea of a story that you're never fully told, which adds a lot of flavor to the whole experience. The biggest issue I had was with the placement of some respawn points and the lack of general direction given to find certain items key to game progression.

The controls feel tight, the progression feels fair, and the lore is just present enough to draw you in and make you want to learn more. An overall excellent action/adventure title with several hours of content for the price. Also, Functional Co-op earns this game bonus points.

The game has a lot of charm, but I keep getting like 4 hours in before my friends and I forget about this game and never play it again. It's a great co-op experience, but the singleplayer feels empty and lonely.

Ruby and Chie's voices were handcrafted to make your ears bleed.
A fairly ambitious crossover that attempts to meld together the fighting styles of different games. The tag-in feature is a new entry into the BlazBlue series, and it definitely mixes up the flow of combat. A very accessible gateway title for the 2-D fighting genre.

90% of the cast feels broken. A great game to just mess around with for people who have played other 2-D fighters every now and then. The animations and hit stun on some of the moves make the characters feel really fun. -7/10
