I see a lot of reviews complaining that the DLC takes away your tools and introduces some frustrating mechanics and elements.

I get it, and nothing wrong with not liking something, but EOTE is a fully self-contained adventure with awesome puzzles. If you decide you don't like it, no worries - you can completely ignore the additional area forever without even remembering it's there.

Narratively, I can agree that the DLC falls a bit short of the base game, but is still more compelling than most other single-player games on the market. It still tugs at the heartstrings while not being as philosophical as the main story.

The scary/stealth bits are truly only REQUIRED in three sections, and can be cleared in roughly a minute each once you've familiarized yourself with your surroundings. You will know when you enter these sections, and will DEFINITELY know when you have the potential to be spooked. Personally, the DLC has even better puzzles and reveals of information than the original game did on average.

Extremely fun and satisfying experience. You can turn down the scares if they are too much - they also make the stealth sections far easier if you have any semblance of patience.

Tic-Tac spacemen committing crimes and doin tasks. Most fun with a group 10 friends, but sometimes you'll find some pleasant-ass randoms. Most of y'all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ be leaving the second they don't get impostor though and you should feel bad about that fact.

9/10 game, shows that an idea that is well implemented does not have to be complex to be tons of fun!
