This is, without a doubt, my favorite game of all time, and I like a lot of game genres/styles. It is certainly the kind of game that not everyone is going to enjoy because of how slow it can seem when you're trudging through a blizzard with too much gear in your pack, but I cannot get enough. Even when I move on to other games for a while, I'm always thinking about this game and it's not long before I heed its call once again. Now IRL I always wonder what's dead when I hear a bunch of crows cawing in the distance.

I like the grind, so I find this game to be enjoyable in a way grind-haters aren't going to understand at all. I haven't gotten that far in the progression yet because I tend to take my time (and also I suck at games), but so far so good for me. I will say that I almost quit the game until the single player release, only because my internet is meh and after a while (I don't remember having an issue when I first started playing but who knows) I found ANY server I chose to be virtually unplayable due to the lag. But now it's all good and I can also be away from my crops and buildings without stressing that they're all going to die from me having an actual life outside the game because I'm on my own server and it pauses when I leave! yay lol

This game is super tough for me, but I absolutely love it.

Overall, I enjoyed myself. I prefer the first game simply because I like urban decay in post-apocalyptic settings, and this one had more time spent in the jungles and places that were clearly already run-down before the zombies, but that's just me. I will say this, though, I feel like this one was way more prone to glitches than the first. This may be because I was playing a co-op game, but either way, it could get annoying at times.
