Fun multiplayer co-op game with really unique mechanics and a pretty good community. Game is very tounge-in-cheek and addicitive.

I pre-ordered stellaris when I started college, now all these years later I can confidently say that this is one of the best grand strategy games out there. It's gone through a massive amount of reworks/overhauls since 1.0 (usually for the better) and it probably the easiest Paradox game to get someone not familiar with other paradox games or even grand strategy games into. Not being tied to real-world history has let the devs get really creative with lore and the atmosphere and soundtrack of the game rocks. My suggestion would be to try the base game, if you like it do the subscription until the next steam sale and buy the expansions.

The UI is weak, but the base mechanics of the game are very solid/fun and I have hope that the devs will improve some of the weaker mechanics like warfare soon.

Update (11/23/24): With the last two DLC the game has gotten massivley better. There is still some country specific flavor needed and there needs to be an update dedicated to warfare but even with all that the game is a blast to play. Word of warning that its a different style of PDX game to EU4/CK3. You can blob but thats not what this game was designed for.

Simple Clicker game, it's free on the web so you're buying to to support the devs which I think is cool!

Fun rouge like card game that is unique enough to make it it's own experience. I recommend.

Great game, hard to learn and the DLC system sucks, but great game none the less.

Update: Strongly recommend the DLC subscription plan. 100% worth it. Game has eaten more hours of my life then any other form of media :) :) :)

Amazing game with plenty of depth and skill but still fun to mess around with. I have prime and although I personally haven't run into any cheaters, they do exist. the game is still amazing tho and I would recommend in a heartbeat

Probably the only rouge-like I have enjoyed playing. There is so much depth and decision making that goes on in a run and the game is unbelievably fun. 10/10
