It almost has too MUCH music. Great selection, smooth controls, and nice difficulty differences.

Might be a fun quick game, if every opponent didn't slow play each turn. Games drag to a halt because timer is too slow.

From gorgeous backgrounds, well designed and voiced characters to one of the best video game soundtracks this game is a worthy Ni no Kuni title. It's clunky battle system causes it to play second-fiddle to Ni no Kuni 2. 4/5 stars.

One of the long-lasting and most successful asymmetrical 4v1 action-horror games.
Great to play with friends. Matchmaking still leaves much to be desired.

Can't recommend due to use of Unity Engine and poor optimization.

With a 1080 gtx and i7 7700k i cant run this game full screen at 1440p without stutter?!

Disappointing and refunded.

I strongly recommend getting this game. The use of 'found' objects to tell the story is fresh and provides a very personal-feeling insight into the semi-autobiographical story. Some review unfairly criticize the online game portion as too simplistic. That is a deliberate design choice and allows the player to be able to appreciate the messaging, media, and dialogue that occur while playing. The more complex the online game was, the less players would be able to pay attention to the story being told. There a few times that the dialogue seems a bit too earnest and honest, but that is partially my older perspective looking at younger emotions. It also seems to be a necessary device to keep the plot on track with the length of the game.

TLDR: At $9 the game takes you on an emotional 1.5 hour ride.
