Came for the achievements, but stayed for the feels.

The clubky controles masquerading as difficulty in gameplay are really infuritating. The only reason this review is positive if for the effort and time made to make this game, and it's for free, with achievements.

Too bad. It had great potential right after the CB release, but the devs are just the greediest.

It's horrible now. And he servers are mostly empty.

Don't waste your time.

If you're willing to pay the monthly fees, you're going to have a good time. It's a fun game that can kill a lot of your time. Probably the best hunting simulator on the market.

However, if you're going to play for free, which is how this game was marketed, you're going to have a bad time, because all you're going to do is go around, find an animal, attemp to shoot it and get a message saying that you have to pay to be able to hunt it. You're only allowed to hunt one type of animal, and it's moderately hard to find one, let alone hunt it.

Do I recommend it for how it was marketed? Of course not.
Would I recommend it if it were Buy2Play and not Pay2Play disguised as free to play? Absolutely.


Don't mind the low play time. I used to play it in the standalone launcher before it was on Steam. I decided to check back if anything has changed. It didn't. They only added more packs to be bought.

Pros:
-Lovely art...and maybe good music.

Cons:
-Horrible controls. You can only use the mouse.
-♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu screen and a fixed 800x600 resolution.

Overall, lazy game-making.

Thanks for the cards.

One of the best indie titles out there.

Pros:
+Great soundtrack.
+Decent controls.
+Good story line.
+Pretty visual effects.

Cons:
-There's no option to skip dialogues entirely in levels. This is a very important option, as you'll be dying a lot, and skipping an entire dialogue every few seconds just so you can be killed again by a boss is annoying.

Show me any game that has Star Trek zombies and a companion bucket.
You can't.

A really well done mod.

I'm sorry, but the only things I liked is the visual style and effects, there's nothing I haven't seen before. Sure, "that's the point", but I expected them to put some originality in it. They just jammed generic old school stuff together, added some random events that supposedly make it cool, but it's nothing I haven't seen or heard before. It's just rehashed jokes and references that are so silly, people started seeing it as a perfect movie.

I expected an original idea, or at least some original jokes, covered in a silly style that we consider generic, but ALMOST nothing was original here, from the tank joke to the ski-on-body.


TL;DR: Reverse psychology movie. Make everything bad that people have no choice but to like it. Try to criticize it, and people will tell you that "It's the point of the movie."
