Put simply, Dwarf Fortress is a masterful game that while imposing on the surface proves to only be as challenging in scope as you are curious to learn. While only on my second fort at this point I have already had a myriad of fun with this game and know I will continue to for the rest of my play-time

I would normally never abide by the chiche of "I wanted to like this game" But never before had that statment ever been more the case than with this game. I've had a very enjoyable Canada game where I've grown extremely attached to the story my nation has built up for itself over the last half century- (Thank you True North Strong and Free mod) -But then the damn thing has the audacity to crash on me, every time at a specific date, February 7th, 1882. I guess that's the day every Pop in the world got raptured, because on that mystical day the game boots me out and ceashes entirely

Just finished the tutorial, pretty good ngl

Graphics are stunning, gameplay is great and easy to get the hang of but hard to mater (a quality all games need to be great rather than good) And is extremly realistic, the screams when limbs are hacked off and battlecries make it sound as realistic as it gets, i would show this game off to anyone who was a fan of action and/or history gamers. (msg me if you wanna play together, Masons' Guild all the way!)

need help! when i log into the game the loading screen pops up but then takes me to a message saying: 'Total war: SHOGUN 2 has stopped working' if you know how to fix please help!

Year 1: WTF DO I DO???? ITS WINTER ALREADY?????
Year 2: OK survivors, ive learnt to build a house!
Year 3: Yay! theyve survived, but whats with the snowflakes above their house? its SUMMER!!!!
Winter, Year 3: EVERYBODYS' FREEZING TO DEATH!! WHYYYYY???? THERES SO MUCH WOOD!!!!
Year 4: No survivors
Two secconds later after last person dies: Tornado comes and any remanents of town off the map :(
Finds out you need woodcutter for logs :)
10/10 this game doesnt like me, but i sure love it!

fantastic. The fact that this game is able to carry you from 4, 000 BC to --- AD without ever getting boring or repetitive is phenominal, if you play all the way through at at least Normal to Epic speed, you begin to see the story of your unique Civilization unfold, as you make friends, confront enemies, and even shape how you govern your own people through unique Social Policies and Ideologies, as well as Religon. I would reccmend this game to everyone and anyone for its nnstop fun and infinante replayablility. One of the best games iv'e ever played!
