Overall this game has taken over as my favourite game of the series. The rich story and play on emotions really give you a roller coaster of a time. You feel each of Alex's feelings and can relate to them in each part of the story. From grief to happiness.

However, if you are a fan of these games purely for the romantic love interest, I will tell you that you tend to steer away from this in many portions of the game. The focus of love appears very little, and the scenes are quickly rushed to get back to the story.

However, if you enjoy the games for the story and exploration feel of the game, then this is for you. Compared to the previous games where you were locked in one area to explore, LIS: TC allows you to roam around a small mine town city, allowing you to feel the emotions of all the different towns folks as the story progress.

Overall this is a fantastic game that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Just like the previous games, the gameplay is simple. WASD and left-click. It will take no time to get used to the controls and how they function.

A feature that was introduced was quick time 'events'. But not in the sense of actually changing the story all that much but instead randomly appearing during small talk with other characters.

As mentioned above, they added a more "open" feel in this game, allowing the player to investigate and walk through the town to interact with other people and sense the emotions they are currently going through.

The one pure frustration I had with the game was the "LARP" section. This felt as if it was really to just extend the gameplay time with repetitive actions and very little addition to the game's enjoyment. Halfway through the LARP, my friend and I were both just laughing and repeating the same like

"ROCK!!!!"
"HEALING SYERONADE"

This portion of the game was incredibly repetitive, and I could not wait to finish it.

Similar to LIS2, rather than there being one focal love interest, it is split up into two, allowing the player to choose which character they want to form a relationship with.

While this addition allows both parties to be happy, it takes out that enjoyment of feeling the relationship really grow because there is the choice of two different parties the developers had to focus more time on making sure that both relationships ended up having an even balance rather than seeing the relationship properly form and blossom.

The game time, while short compared to the rest of the games, still worked out perfectly (other than the LARP). It gave the perfect amount of story progression and character development, allowing us to learn different emotions from different people and still have space for anticipation. I personally feel the playtime is perfect for the story.

The game audio, just like all of the other games, is perfect. The voices are crisp and clear and give you that immersive feeling no matter the characters' location.

The music in the game also once again exceeded expectations. Each song and music set fit perfectly. (I especially liked the song at the end of chapter 4).

It gives you that immersive feeling and helps heighten your emotions through each scene you go through.

Overall this is a fantastic game. It's taken the number one position in the series for me.

However, if you are not a massive LIS fan, I would highly encourage you to wait for a sale as the price is relatively high for someone who may not be a fan of the game.
