Whenever Lovecraft wrote about how scary the unknowable is, I never truly understood. I thought I understood, on a rational level I probably did, but not on an emotional level.

This game, and it's newly released DLC, certainly made me understand.

But Lovecraft wasn't entirely right either. Because, yes, the seemingly unknowable can be unfathomably horrifying. But if the unknowable turns out to be knowable after all, what then?

Then, it turns out, it can be truly beautiful.
