It is the best version of Aliens video game coming out in a long time. It is tense, but also very doable once you know how the system works. It gives you a ton of options if one part is not to our taste at the start. Honestly, it goes from nail biting tension to reliving the beginning of the Movie of Aliens in a pretty sharp turn.

I hope they add a DLC or make it a series.

Really really not for me. The surrealist atmosphere immediately threw me off, paired with science lingo that made me cringe and the lack of choice and direction of the characters was kind of frustrating. I'm sure this will fit with many many other people who want romance space like things? Just not for me.

It is a fun game that really gives homeworld more breath of purpose than i would even say homeworld 2.

It is an interesting and wide ride, though, I have to admit, I got the bad ending more out of "I didn't know what to do" rather than choice, and I get a feeling a lot of people will.

It feels like Tropico have ironed out a lot of the issues I have noticed slowly coming up since 3 and at least so far have gone away from huge grindy missions.

I like this game, it is very cool and spacey. The biggest thing that makes me groan is the fact that sometimes you have have a huge habitat running and find that one resource just isn't there. But on the other side of the map it is. This leaves you with one option that is rather expensive, (get a rocket with all the parts needed and land there to start a base) or to get a tech that unless you choose the right person is rather high in the tech tree and requires items that require most likely what you are missing (rare minerals). I don't think that I am the best at it, and I haven't tried to optimize anything, but I do find it calming and fun to play. The fact that all the add ons add all these interesting events have really pushed it over the edge of normal sim builder games.

Pillars of Eternity 2 changes all the things that Pillars 1 got wrong, and actually hits you hard with story from the story, then giving you a large open world full of people, secrets and discoveries. Even playing through it twice, I feel like i haven't gotten it all. It is a great game and if you liked games like baldurs gate this is the game for you.

If you played battletech before or really any board game, you will enjoy this game. If you don't really enjoy it, you might struggle a bit, but be drawn in by the store. The time is working hard to support this game, and it really shows, with updates balancing and making the start of the game less harsh. If you wanted a space adventure with big mechs stomping around and shooting each other this is right up your alley.

This is a fun game that while at first was fairly shallow has been slowly developed into a more and more interesting space game. I feel like they need to make an over arching story mode or something that triggers to draw you in, but the new options and the repeated changes have made the game only better.

Buggy, old school in a very unfun way. It is trying to be as offensive as possible which is fine I guess, but I have to admit, it goes from boring, to hard, not due to any skill just because the ai and enemy spawn is rather lame. A lot of the shock value comes from the fact you are shooting unarmed people, and pretty much once that wears off, you are left with half the game of just running around killing people. The other half either running/fight the mobs of police that shoot you all at once from different directions.
