The game is fun but unlike Hades where death is not very upsetting this game in particular leaves me feeling like crap on deaths. It feels like total bs half the time. In contrast, when dying in Hades I always feel like I totally deserved it.

If this could be addressed it would be perfect and could be played for long time periods. For now it's kind of a "play in short bursts" kind of game.

Good game but the autosave is atrocious and makes me regularly alt+f4 when it hasn't saved the game in 10+ minutes.

I reached GM. More and more problems appear over time.

1. The optimisation is absolutely horrific. Might be fun for a while as an in-betweener game because it's free but it can't be taken seriously when the performance is this badly optimised for a shooter. I get 250 fps in Overwatch and 60-100 in this at medium settings

2. Bots in quick play games.

3. Balance is terrible and they are slow to do anything about it. People are using the ban system just to deal with bad broken poorly balanced characters. This is not a good solution.

4. Characters need 5 or 6 more iterations of polish because their kits are incredibly janky.

5. No role queue. This results in busted unwinnable games if you get 3+ support players on one team forcing some of them to play dps which they can't play at the same level. This can and does happen multiple times in a row sometimes.

Overwatch is significantly better at the moment. Not too surprising given the years it's had to get to this point but even their new character releases are 100x more polished than this.

Still waiting for the train to arrive.

Some genius thinks it's a good idea to kick people from the server for taking too long while in character creation.

Also it's Amazon and they're just not very good.

The company has absolutely no respect for its players, viewing them entirely as wallets to be milked. Bare minimum effort is given while price is absolutely maximised to the point of being disgusting. Collaborations are poorly chosen corporate slop and immersion breaking that do not fit in this setting.

The game coasts along on the incredible work that occurred before it got the "2", besides a couple of new characters all the number 2 has brought to the title is american corporate slop, monetisation and sadness.

It's also absolutely filled with cheaters, every other game you can expect to see a cheater. Probably around 5% of the playerbase cheating.

You get to be a fascist power ranger vs even worse fascists. You're a genetically superior "chosen" special being with magic genes fighting for an extreme hierarchical military society on its last legs hiding in basically hitler's mountain hideout surrounded by enemies on all sides and your job is to find the wunderwaffe that will win the inter-fascist war. If that sounds like your thing then it might be the game for you.

If you can look past the offputting korean body aesthetics (or like them) there's a pretty decent looter shooter underneath.

The game seems to be getting review bombed by clueless people.

1. The items available for purchase as DLC are all purchaseable items in game and are all very easy to acquire.
2. You can start a new game by deleting your cloud save.
3. You can change your appearance for 20k gold. For reference it costs 2500 gold to stay in an inn, which you do every day to rest. This money is easily acquired.

With that out the way, the game is fun so far. Some fps complaints in high traffic cities but otherwise running fine.

The review bombing seems to be unwarranted.

EDIT: Alright 60hours played, it's review update time.

Game is good. Optimisation is poor. It's very CPU bound in cities.

Microtransactions are just the equivalent of a premium bag of items. You don't need them, do not buy them, no seriously there's nothing worth buying anyway. Get it in game.

Dragonplague does not break games people are spreading misinformation.

Combat is some of the most cinematic and fun you can have.

Very much enjoying the game. Enemy variety could be better. Gameplay loop won't be for everyone, it's an explorer's game and a traveller's game, if you can't live without fast travel mechanics it might not be for you. This is not a game you're supposed to rush through.

No text chat is a huge accessibility issue and just generally a step backwards for gaming in general. I'm hopeful that this is addressed as the game is otherwise very promising.

PVP in a roguelike implemented in a way that's actually good and not at all frustrating. Very clever.
