I love Coral Island! It's a vibrant world with amazing and diverse characters and really fun gameplay!

It's a fun game and you get to spend time with Emily and her amazing (large and extended) family. What else do you want?

Previously, I'd given the game a thumbs down because I said there was no way to magnify the screen. However, when I went back to it, I find that it's been implemented, so I'm changing my review. The art is lovely, and the cats are cute, and many of them meow when you find them and click on them. It's super cute, so you should definitely play it!

I want to write a fair review, so I'm going to do my best to write one. I've played Palia for over a year at this point, and when the game came to Steam I switched to playing in Steam. I'm not blind to the game's faults, and there are several, but I'm also going to try to focus on the good things about the game, because those do exist. I know that some people think that just because a game is free, it means that the game should be free from being criticised. I've kept in mind that the game is free, but as someone who supported the game by buying cosmetics, I'm also writing this review from that point of view.

* POSITIVES *

- Beautiful world, interesting characters.
- Lots of time has been spent in every character's backstory.
- Amazing lore and great potential here for them to do so much more with it.
- You can easily spend time in this world pottering about and feeling cozy.
- I've made some friends here, but like any community, exercise caution with randos.
- It's free.

* NEGATIVES *

- Even after all this time, there are only two areas: Kilima village and Bahari bay. For an MMO world which promises so many other areas in its lore, this has been incredibly disappointing.
- It becomes incredibly boring and repetitive very quickly.
- The game doesn't know what it wants to be. Is it an MMO? Is it a cozy interior decoration game? (The second one is more on point for what it actually is right now.) There are several identity crises that the game is going through.
- Bugs, bugs, bugs. So many bugs. Bugs that have existed for absolutely months. It boggles the mind that they keep giving us new cosmetics and interior design items without first fixing the colossal bugs that persist even after a year.

If you want to play this game with zero expectations, you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. But after three months, when the updates are meaningless and bugs afflict your playtime as well, just put it down and move on. I have no idea if Palia will ever be more than what it is now, but as someone who desperately wants them to be great, I'll be silently rooting for them. But I'm not holding my breath, and neither should you.

An Emily classic - adorable graphics, great story line, all the people we love. What's not to like?

It's The Sims; enough said. The base game is amazing; the only thing I really and truly miss is the neighbourhood walking/exploring that was in Sims 3 that made it such a freaking game changer. But apart from that, it's awesome.

I cannot recommend this game enough. At first glance it seems to be a cutesy farming simulation game but it is so much more. There are so many layers to it; you could gladly lose yourself in it for hours. I know I have. It's brilliant.

This is such a sweet game. The graphics are adorable and I like the game progression! It's fun to play and I'm loving levelling up and seeing what the game brings. Oh, and the storyline is pretty great.

It's fun and it's engaging. My only issue with this game is that it seems to perpetuate so many stereotypes, like you know the women fighting over the man and so on and so forth. The ♥♥♥♥♥, the angel, the handsome dude in the middle of it all. It's like playing a high school opera (which it is really) but like I said, it's still fun and engaging and I definitely enjoyed playing it.
