An excellent and complex detective game. Best in class. Very little hand holding.

Wow. This game is amazing. Fills that bomberman gap that's been around forever. The game is hard to play but really satisfying. Really amazing and impressive small game. Letting folks try the game with a friend who has purchased it is a great option and feels really friendly. Most folks I've played with ended up purchasing it.

Great and unusual versus game.

This is probably Arkane's best work and with the Dishonored series in their past, that's saying a lot. Best System Shock 2 spiritual successor by a huge margin. In my top 10 games of all time. I somehow didn't get the memo of why I should play this at release so I went in blind which I highly recommend. If you like immersive sims, you shouldn't miss this.

This game is super fun. The controls are not super intuitive on kb/mouse but they are super responsive and good once you get a hold on how to move about. The game isn't very active so you probably want to find some pals to jump into a server together. Probably not worth picking up without having some folks to play with but I played a couple hours with friends and once everyone figured out how to move around it was some of the most intense multiplayer action I've experienced in a long time.

This game is good. Enemies have a little too much life in general and the final boss is kind of annoying but it has a pretty good variety of spaces and nails the Metroid feel. Getting weapons is neato though a lot are pretty useless. All in all very good Metroid style game with some weird style and cool things to look at.

This game is super good. The beginning is definitely the least interesting part and goes on pretty long, so tough it out until you get to the forest at least before you give up from going nuts over listening to that one music track over and over and over again. Once you get into it, this is probably one of the best "retro" platformers that have been made in a while and possibly in the entire craze of retro style indie games.

The platforming is actually very difficult and the game has a great difficulty scaling in terms of both difficulty of platforming, difficulty of enemies and frequency of checkpoints. The game actually lets you go for a large chunk of the game without having a double jump and once you get it, the game has very good platform challenges taking advantage of the arc and the games deadly spikes. Bosses are frequent and generally very good. They are almost all very simple but have patterns you figure out and manage which happens quickly due to their simplicity. They are also (mostly) not crazy damage sponges which I feel ruins a lot of retro style games I've played though this is mostly a problem with the new roguelike/lite games. When you get to a boss, they do enough damage that you have to not just soak damage, but they typically die fast enough that the primarly enemy isn't boredom.

The game hits a pretty much perfect balance in map complexity. The map is very large and complex and has no map. This actually works pretty well given that you typically can move through earlier areas pretty quickly by having more armor and the relatively late game double jump. I'm generally for maps in games regardless of the "retro" design of a game, but this works well since the map is pretty much as complex as you can get without feeling you "need" a map. If you are the sort to actually make your own map though, you will feel rewarded for it in this case.

There are some old game references in this. A decent amount but most are secrets and the game stands up well enough on its own that I don't find myself being irritated as I am when this is a thing in lesser games. I figure it's mentioning for anyone who just can't stand that sort of thing.

All in all, this game is great and well worth its full asking price which is something I rarely say since I'm cheap as hell and indie games are literally a dime a dozen with the various bundles available. This game transcends that though and is worth a purchase on its own if it sounds like your sort of thing.

This game is fantastic. Not really into word spud but everything else is solid. The smartphone/tablet integration is easy enough that anyone with a modernish smart phone shouldn't have any trouble.

This is a good free game. Its generally pretty difficult but typically each very difficult part isn't very long so its not to frustrating to get through any particularly rough room. The end "puzzle" isn't much of a puzzle, its more just did you see the clue in the sort of secret area but whatever its free and its fun.
