pretty alright game, though would warn any newcomers about how incredibly pay to win the game becomes at later levels!

11/10 great game - and heres why:

had some issues with fromsoftwares last game of this genre (DS3 - though that was more a server issue), and I've not had any of that with this game, the new "torrent" horse mechanic is VERY fun to muck around with, and the open world exploration is very rewarding.

gameplay and fights are (as to be expected from fromsoftware) sublime, the fights are (as usual) challenging yet rewarding, with some of the optional fights being my favourite so far

this game is gonna leave you screaming in rage into your screen and down your discord vc from one second, to almost crying with joy as you finally fell a particularly difficult boss (looking at you Margit - that's about as far as I've gotten so far tbh)

in conclusion; gameplay is fantastic, the map is beautiful and the exploration is both fun and rewarding - great job fromsoft and keep up the good work
