For a post-apocalyptic game in a setting as fast-paced and brutal as the Mad Max series has been, this game is a treasure and is relaxing to play. It's just you and the open desert (and a bunch of punks in need of a beatdown in between) and I've lost myself in hours upon hours of just cruising around mine-hunting with my dog with nothing but the sound of the car's engine and weathering the occasional storm. There is so much content in this game to keep you going and it's great for completionists, but I always find myself coming back to Mad Max to wind down.

It stays true to the series' lore and style and continues to be a blast to this day.
