Amazing co-operative game if you have a close knit group of friends that need a new team building adventure to further re-enforce your growing love/hatred for one another. <3

Devs love their creation and actually have amazing post-launch support/free-dlc/content in general.

Lots of love has gone into the creation of this experience and you should let yourself become a part of the adventure, versus trying-harding it and searching for spoilers and such. Of course, should you struggle for some reason or another, look for spoiler free guides on youtube for tips.

I never played the original, but - after worrying about how aged the UI/mechanics looked - I'm proud to say that this game has made my list of favorite titles. It's not often that you get a game with such enjoyable class building mechanics as this. If you're going to play this title for the first time as well, it'd serve you well to suffer through some of the more dated features/textures/sound as everything beyond the beginning is quite enjoyable.Would I recommend purchasing this game? Yes, if you've never played the original that is. Even if you did play the original, you may still wish to enjoy the new quality of life (QOL) features that have been added alongside the new DLC that's planned for early 2021.

I had been looking for a game like this for so long... Finding it now and buying it for a friend and I to enjoy, has convinced me to name this the most enjoyable RPG of 2019 for me. Play on Hardcore only and let the hilarity ensue, as the actual fear of death for both of your characters will grant you some amazing stories to share with others.

Please note the following:
* Modding is growing for this game and already provides crazy features such as allowing more than just one person to join your game. Modding is very easy to do, but it should be mentioned that it's not workshop mods, but rather a unity modding tool that you must use (similar to how you had to mod DkS1/2/3).
* It really pays to play to a class type and really think through your options for combat.
* Should you dislike the scaling of enemies that occurs when others join your game, you can get a mod to keep enemies the same as when you are solo.
* The game isn't perfectly polished no, but god does it provide the most unique RPG experience out there currently. Runs great on aging hardware and network stability is excellent. MAKE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR REGION IN THE SETTINGS PRIOR TO ATTEMPTING CO-OP.

Finally, your dialog & time allocation decisions are far-reaching and everlasting. The game world doesn't just wait for you to come complete missions whenever you damn well please. Please give this game an earnest try and be sure to bring a friend along, you won't regret it.

Support the devs now -- enjoy an extremely rewarding experience now, and even more so in the future. I can already play this game for hours at a time.
