If anyone from this team is given HL3 work, threats will be made by many. They need to hide their involvement with this project to survive the industry with a career in-tact.

HL2 doesn't really need a remake. They can go ahead and remake HL3 though.

@Nick44, Source 2 was released in 2015. Not many games use it. The most notable is DOTA 2.

Thing is HL remaster was only done because of valve's source 2.0 engine which made original half life's source 1 engine obsolete. So how would they remake HL2 if valve havent made engine newer than 2.? latest running on L4D2 or Portal 2? Makes no sense. What we want is HL3 on brand spanking new source engine also viable for steam VR no? BTW black mesa was a project of at least 7 years from the date I started watching it with promise it being 100% free. Now idk if its steam asking 20 bucks here, or if its the original team behind the remaster, knowing its tons of people from different parts of the world working remotely, how are they splitting the income? Regardless, I own free copy that was being offered for at least a year, why are you all paying 20 bucks for it?

They should make the HL3 remake as well

lol Half-Life 2 does not need remake, this game is perfect the way it is.

They should continue the half life series and be given half life 3. If anyone could deliver it, crowbar collective could.

they need to put a higher price to this master piece.. they deserve much more than 20 dollars.

They've already said they won't and also couldn't do Half Life 2, even if Valve wanted to remaster the game, they would do it themselves, definitely not Crowbar. They've honestly ruined their track record as a team, even though they've done a good job so far, they've proven to be unreliable, unrealistic, and very slow to the take. Not sure one of them would actually thrive at a job with deadline.s
