Should be a contender for game of the year. It adapts DND 5E's system perfectly, has a great story, and has a lot of room for replayability. If you are on the fence at buying this game, do yourself a favor and make the leap. I highly recommend this game.

Other than the game needing a complete reset of ranks, I think CS is in a good state right now.

Edit 2: They reset the ranks, and it has been pretty good so far. Haven't experienced any blatant hackers in a minute either.

Edit 3: They finally announced Source 2 with CS2. I am really excited and can't wait to fall in love with my favorite game again. Thanks Valvo :)

Edit 4: CS2 has been released, and unfortunately the game is not what I envisioned it to be. Bad hit registration, terrible lag compensation, player models doing the Michael Jackson lean around corners, extremely accurate running accuracy, lack of anticheat, movement issues, and general grievances with the subtick system. I am going to swap my recommendation to a "no" until these issues are fixed. Extremely disappointed in Valve right now. Hope to return to this review in the near future with a more positive review.

Edit 5: Here we are four-five months later. A vast majority of the issues I mentioned above have been addressed/fixed. However there are still a few lingering issues that continue to hurt the game. Two of which would be an easy fix. The first is the issue with MR12 and the current economy system. Income from both winning and losing rounds needs to be adjusted, especially on CT side. The other issue is with Molotovs. The pillar of fire is impossible to see through. A slight adjustment to opacity values here would work numbers. The last major issue I wanted to mention is the anticheat. This obviously is harder to address than the other two, but it needs to be fixed ASAP. Once these things get fixed, you will have my recommendation again.
