The game has been censored by Square Enix's ethics department.

- Nina's lack of jiggle physics.
- Meracle's pawn with changed clothes showing less skin.
- Game camera with limited bottom-up movement.
- English subtitles censoring dialogues in several Private Actions.

Politics in videogames always spoil the entertainment of us consumers, which is a shame.
I wish I could change this review of mine to a positive one, but it all depends on them.

Pre-shader cache compilation processing is pretty annoying on the long term.
Everytime you update the GPU Drivers, you have to redo that Pre-shader cache compilation.
Time required: 30-40 minutes in my case with i9-9900KF and NVMe SSD.
Performance-wise, the game is still the same since day one, only 1 QoL update.
It's not unplayable, but I would like more support on PC.
Also, Denuvo is still there.

Playing this game with an RTX 4070 runs at 60 fps all the time. This is called bruteforce though.

A year after my last review update, I'm still playing the game. The shader compilation resets with every driver update, and it's still very annoying.

The game is heavily censored, I am very disappointed. Unplayable.

The situation is not changed, the game is still censored.

There is no way to import characters from JP to Global due to a "Height Error".

A cutscene in chapter 1 of EPISODE 4 was removed.

Several cutscene of EPISODE 4 have been altered.

You cannot create a character shorter than 150cm. In the JP version you can.

A cosmetic "Smart Innerwear" has been removed.

The gender restricted doors in the Hotsprings Alliance Base were removed.

During a maintenance they censored the Slave weapons set, renamed them to Raven weapons, without even warning the players, created a huge inconvenience.

There's too much politics in this game, it's a propaganda, stay away.

At this point it has become unplayable for me, I'm sorry to say, but it's absurd and I don't enjoy it anymore. I've never seen a worse situation than this in a video game.

On the official forum there are no more moderators, they gave up. All the SJWs are accusing everyone of crime, just because the majority don't want this unnecessary censorship. That forum is now a battlefield. Feel free to participate, there are no rules.

This game is still censored and will be censored untill the end.
The new version PSO2 New Genesis will be censored too, will have no gender options, and many other SJWs favourite things.

Game license removed from my account. I wasted 456 hours of my life. Worst game on Steam due to politics corruptions.

Too boring, there is really nothing special to the story of this game. *imho
The only think I like it was not explained.

The characters of this game are very well developed, from the art style to the emotions.
But the main protagonist Yuma is maybe one of the worst I ever seen. Anyway this game is all about girls characters, so I don't care about Yuma.

Tony Taka is the character designer, top tier. 10/10
The graphics is very simple but I love how is rendered. Very colorful and clean.

The voice acting of this game is majestic.
Hayami Saori, Mizuki Nana, Kayano Ai... oh my god, this is eargasm.
The soundtracks are really good, much better of many others JRPGs.

The battle system is really funny, but overall the game is not a masterpiece.
Visual novel-like dialogues are not really what I want in a JRPG. And the story is boring.
The world explorable is really small, one of the smallest I ever seen, but bigger than Compile Hearts games.

The lore has a lot of potential, but it was all done very badly.
There is only 1 city, and only the very southern part of an unknown contintent is explorable.
The city is on bottom of the map, and you can only explore running to north, because on south there is the ocean, ruins everywhere.
The races of this continent are: Humans, and some little communities of High Elves and Dark Elves.
The Elves should live on the northen part, maybe on the other side of the mountains.

Spoiler:
The Unreachable Tower is the thing that intrigues me the most, but unfortunately even finishing the game I did not understand how to reach it, and nothing is explained.

No crash so far, pretty stable 60 fps in 4K resolution.
Really fast loading time even on a HDD.
Aliasing, you have to use super sampling resolution to fix it.
Missing DualShock4 prompts buttons.
Useless presence of English dub, and it is not possible to uninstall it.
Translation is not really accurate, but so far better than NISA.




Overall is a good game, but only for a cheap price. 12 €

The best neptunia game so far.
My only complain is UE4, it looks so ugly.

Explore the planets, fight the enemies, in this game you will find everything you've always wanted in a JRPG.

It has many, perhaps even far too many, references from previous games. Although this title is the prologue of the entire franchise, to enjoy it to the fullest you should play ''First Departure'' and ''Second Evolution'' first.

At first it may seem that the whole party consists of children and members of a circus, but that is what makes it special.
Analysing each character individually, each of them has a complex and deep background.

Considering that it is a game developed in 2009, in its remaster version it shines again. For the first time the Aska Engine runs on PC, and it is among the lightest and best performing engines I have ever seen.
The only disappointment on my part is that they haven't updated the 3D models of the characters, which look a bit dated and unattractive.

Absolutely stunning, Motoi Sakuraba is always at his best when it comes to composing music for Star Ocean.
The audio in this game is also surround, and has good spatial effects. The environmental sounds are also well realised.

I can't put a rating lower than 10 in the entertainment that Star Ocean can offer.
But objectively speaking, if you love JRPGs, you cannot miss this title, or rather, this franchise.
