- "High ground to TOC, suspect has been blown into the next life, tazed and pepper sprayed".

- "Uh, roger that entry team, keep up the good work".

Great game if you liked R6S before it went to crap. The attention to detail on the maps is amazing, really immerses you into a city that's going to hell in a hand basket.

Hands down the best Space Hulk game there is going. There isn't much this game gets wrong.
I think the negative reviews are from people expecting an XCOM style adaption to the theme, but its actually faithful to the board game with a ~twist~.

Pro's:
- Great campaign for Terminators and Genestealers
- Card system breathes new life into the game
- First person mode is amazing and brings it to a new level of immersion
- Cut scenes are really well done
- Customisation is very in-depth and faithful to the tabletop

Cons:
- Genestealer campaign is too short
- Shoot action priority made me shoot objects instead of Genestealers a few times when playing in FP
- Only official Skirmish maps are available. Devs pls bring back other skirmish maps

It's a hard sell. The expectations set by the trailers are very different to what you actually get - a generic zombie shooter with a run of the mill story.

The Ridden are uninspired enemies that blend into the dingy background, their animations and attributes are basic and forgettable. There is no character or flavour to the enemies - just shoot the shambling grey thing and move on. Special enemies pose more of an annoyance than a threat and despite their obvious inspiration fall flat. Even something like a musical motif or sting would make the presence of certain Ridden felt, but there is no such thing.

The gun play is refreshing, however that's as far as my praises go with this title. It shows that Valve pushed Turtle Rock into making L4D a fun zombie arcade game with life, character and story - this game is no comparison.

Early Access Review
This game has so much potential and is already a blast to play. So unforgiving and immersive.

The servers are in desperate need of bots to fill in for players, sometimes the game can feel quiet.

Initially the game was great, a breath of fresh air into the FPS genre. But now I can't help but feel like the Payday fanbase and community are being used as cash cows. The DLC for this game is bizarre, requiring you to pay ~£80 (which I'm sure will increase over time) for the complete experience, and without the DLC, your ingame arsenal/heist options will feel quite meager.

Recently Overkill have released the addition of safes into the Payday world which rely on you paying a sum of real money to open, the reward of which the player might not even be able to implement if they do not own the correct DLC. I can't help but feel mislead and disapointed from Overkill's decision to add microtransactions in the game, which they had stated a while ago that if anyone was to think that Overkill were going to add microtransactions, they should be ashamed of themselves. It feels as though they are just adding the safe mechanic to generate more money from the games fans.
