"Indie morrowind" open world RPG with a great art direction, very psychedelic and even surreal with awesome writing. Decent gameplay variety between spells, upgradeable gear, in-dialogue skill tests and more.

This game is a really fun dungeon crawler a la king's field and shadow tower. It can be a little clunky at times, but once you get to a certain point and you're zipping around killing lizard guys with your shiny katana it feels really good.

There's a lot of spell variety which can add some interesting twists to gameplay, like allowing you to summon obstacles or temporary platforms to get around levels, or greatly increasing your jump height for just 2 seconds. Not sure how viable a pure magic build would be.

The lore and characters are okay, but for me the peak for the game is the horror atmosphere in some of the areas like Temple of Silence and Terminus Prison. While some sounds can get annoying the monster sounds in general are really good.

Play it. This game has one of the best stories I've seen in a game and its gonna break your heart.

The story and characters are amazing, it manages to strike a balance between subverting the common turn based battle mechanics to tell its story, but also delivering satisfying, tense combat encounters.

If I had to nitpick the middle of the game drags a bit but the payoff is HUGE.

Gaslighting your friends the game

My personal favorite of the autoattacker genre or whatever we're calling them.

Feels like Vampire Survivors meets Nuclear Throne or Enter the Gungeon.

Art direction is very simple and clean with an ultra limited palette which really helps with readability even with thousands of enemies and projectiles on screen.

The basic gameplay loops are fantastic and let you make some pretty crazy builds.

Main negatives are the audio being unremarkable and lack of variety (for now, dev is already implementing new weapons, characters and upgrades at a quick rate)

Banger game, if you like any of the games I mentioned above, you're probably gonna like it.

lots of fun, the soundtrack is a certified banger, looks pretty enough and lets you make some absolutely busted builds, as games like this should

tossed the dev a coin and would like to let them know they should put the soundtrack up for sale once the game comes out

This game rocks so hard. It feel smore like Doom Eternal than a "boomer shooter" but it still also manages to feel like postal. Very imaginative enemies and weapon designs with interesting mechanics, satisfying movement with slide jumping, beautifully crunchy low poly graphics and gore. If you like Doom Eternal, Postal, or retro shooters in general you should get this.
