FOR WHO IS INTERESTED IN BARTERING KEYS WITH ME:
Since I started trading on barter.vg, I met all kinds of hurdles and traps in estabilishing reasonable, clean and profitable trades. Also, since the space barter.vg allows for stating preferences and other info is very limited, I'll detail here my views and preferences on the way I expect to trade. Note that this is a work-in-progress, so I'll soon improve the wording and add some missing considerations.
0) I am sort-of a collector, so I'm interested in getting all games and DLCs I don't own. Non-wishlisted games are simply games which I didn't have the opportunity to wishlists until now.
0.1) The fact I like getting all keys means I have to bargain a lot. Don't expect me to accept trades in which I have to provide a lot of value for a single key.
0.2) I assign a low value to DLCs, so as above, don't expect me to provide a lot of value for one of them.
0.3) I'm in no rush to either get or give keys, so don't expect me to accept trades which aren't balanced. If you're looking for such a type of trade, look for someone else.
1) I currently prioritize quantity over quality, so balanced 1:1 s or 1:x s (where 1 is mine), are offers I like. I'd really prefer not giving many games in exchange for 1, except in exceptional cases.
1.1) In case the games in question are valuable (i.e. +1 and above 1$), I'd prefer to do a 1:1 or a 1:x, so that it is simpler to assess the balancedness of the offer.
1.2) Also balanced x:x s for limited games, with many games on each side, are a very welcome type of trade.
2) I really dislike receiving interference from third parties, for reasons I'll explain below, so if I receive an offer by someone with "mediator actions on", most probably I'll either accept or decline, no counter.
3) The main indicator I use for value are gg.deals or allkeyshop prices, but there are plenty of further considerations which may affect my decision. For example:
3.1) Game importance or quality, as reflected in the number or reviews and rating on Steam.
3.2) Is the game +1 or not?
3.3) Personal preference for some genres or specific games.
3.4) Hs and Ws on the website.
3.5) Prices on sites which aren't listed on gg.gdeals.
3.6) Price history. e.g.:
3.6.1) Is the price near a historical low? What are current price trends?
3.6.2.) Has the game recently been bundled?
3.6.3) Is the price high because the keys has been released recently?
3.7) Availability. E.g.: is the game banned? Has the game been delisted?
3.8) Price the game was bought at, as opposed to current prices.
3.8.1) I'm not giving bundled keys at current prices, if those prices are lower than the bundled price. If you want that, then you're asking for a keyshop key.
4) Please don't try "reverse-engineering" my criteria for evaluating trades in order to exploit it and get favourable trades. If I sense this happening, I'll grow an antipathy for you, and you'll probably get into my ban list.
5) I prefer for offers being made on the site, instead of being proposed in-chat. I noticed many users propose good or reasonable offers at first, only to get access to the chat and start manipulating and gaslighting you into accepting bad offers. This will also gain a ban or an antipathy at a minimum.
6) Don't push me into accepting your keys or offers. No means no, and I don't want to feel pushed to accept offers I don't like. I don't have a duty to trade with anyone, and we're only here to see if individual interests can somewhere meet.
6.1) No rudeness or spiteful comments. If you don't like my way of trading, just look for someone else. I'll all kind and friendly, but I can be very short-tempered when it comes to lack of respect.
