55hrs of playtime and the game is amazing, but the coop did not work a single time, like at all.

Horrendous support for FFB wheels, literally uplayable.
Otherwise a really good arcade game to play with friends or solo.

Games allows you to be a terrible chef, a sloppy construction worker, the worst guard, and at the end of it, a cold british lady says you did good.
If i add up my ps4 time on this, easily one of the most replayable games, specially now with the freelancer mode.

So from a developer that made payday 2 ten years ago and kept ir running for 10 years, you would expect they would know their playerbase.
They delivered an objectively better game in terms of mechanics (combat, stealth and etc.). But many small details make this game unenjoyable in comparison to Payday 2.
First off, no game has ever thrived with always online, i should not have ping when playing solo. To add to that, you would expect that there would be a very good lobby and matchmaking system, that allows you to easily make friends and join up with them ASAP, since it is always online, but the lobby works like this : join matchmaking, ready up (this will be the only time its safe to add friends) then you play the game, once it is done, you are rather quickly booted back to main menu, without a chance to add your new friends for another game and they are lost forever in the bowels of the internet.
Secondly, missing quality of life- the user interface is overhauled and looks beautiful and is easy to navigate, but it is lacking many features that we already know the devs can make, such as the heist soundtrack edit so you can set your own mood on the provided music. The music is fantastic, but i remember i could change which song plays on which heist and i could even edit that in the lobby. Other missing features are pre-planning like in Payday 2, where you can take a detailed planning of the heist before you enter it and have some more control. This and many other features are something people expected since they have been made already in a previous game, why should we settle for less?
Finally, the overall quality. Yes, the game is brilliant at its core, but for the price that it costs, from a developer we know and they know us, from the time they had to make it, you would expect that most of these issues would not be present. Having many years, excluding the near-bankruptcy ones, they had several years to make this game, but it seems like it all was spent making an entirely new game, and not even remembering what they did to Payday 2 in the past decade. The Storyline cutscenes are just stills with voiceover, and the menu is beautiful but lacking.
In conclusion, i fail to see this game worth 40 quid, as it is less than what it could have been. Obviously sometime later the devs will make plenty of DLC and quality of life updates which most likely fix most if not all issues, but this is currently a major disappointment. I am 90% certain this game would have praise beyond imagine if Payday 2 never existed, and this was a new developer stepping into the market, but it is not.

Game is fine, up until it doesn't work and there is no response from the game developer who outright ignores requests for help and does not even respond with a request for patience.
Issues from 2019 have not been fixed and render the game unplayable (not even the main menu is accessible).

Imagine tower defense games, but for engineering students with OCD.

The game immediately made me feel regretful as i went into options to change settings, the biggest issue i saw was that there were only given 2 genders to choose from for the pilot. Furthermore i went ingame, and i was shocked as the game has unrealistic representation of planets, for some reason they are portrayed as round, not flat. Yes we all know that schools and NASA teach us that the earth is round, but deeply we all must learn the truth and finally call it flat, as it is.
The gameplay elements are amazing.
TL;DR - good game.
