This is the MOST broken, unplayable and frustrating Battlefield of all time so far. To start the 128 player count was obviously just a selling point, because the flow of all out warfare is messy and the huge maps are just glorified open fields with little bits of cover here and there. My character has burned thousands of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ calories just running endlessly due to the trash maps. There barely any content compared to the older BFs, there are like 4 guns max for each class and you can only have 1 gadget/item per class unlike the 2 in BF4 for example. It's sad how things like a scoreboard, spotting, and medic distance is not in the game even though Dice advertised this game as a "next gen experience" The vehicles dominate the game since the RPG is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with 3 rockets and a reload time that takes more than 4 seconds. The place where BF2042 REALLY shines is the bugs and stability. Dice made even shooting at an enemy infuriating with bloom and spread. There have been times where I stood still and shot an enemy with my cross hair at the person and it not registering. The optimization is abysmal where people with high end systems running the game at a whopping 120 FPS. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS GAME until EA and Dice release a patch the size of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and fix these issues. It is embarrassing how this game came out and I haven't even covered everything. I want this game to be just like older battlefields in terms of fun and experience, but in its current state it's the complete opposite.
