I love Tekken to my core but still feel the need to do the downvote like many others because of the corporate greed.
I bought the €99 pre-order and what do I get? 4 characters over a full year apparently. Then we get a full cosmetic shop on top of this... Nothing at all included. ♥♥♥♥ that. I have to pay for real stupid skins after paying nearly €100 for a game. I love the game and I play it but I'm still gonna stand with the downvoters for the corporate greed.

Had over 100 hours before steam release and cannot recommend enough for anyone that enjoys the genre.

As others have mentioned, if you enjoyed Sanctum it's fantastic and the artstyle is a choice that I personally enjoy. Pixel and cartoon stuff is my jam together with vastly varied zombies from the officeworker, punker and schoolgirls coming at you ^_^
It's all about humor and finding new ways to combine the towers and trying to be creative with maze-building.

I'd say this is not for you if you want a "balanced shooter" because it's not. It's also not a game where you can live through towers alone. You need to have both but it's a fun mix!

If I would give some negative sides?
* Music, while having great tunes, transitions are slow and doesn't match at all sometimes which can be a little awkward.
* I really wish there was a way to hide UI during building mode to give a better overview of what you are planning to do outside the minimap.

You like tunes? You like platforming games?
Worth it.
