Helltaker is a pleasant surprise you wouldn't want to miss out on. Along with its wonderful art and humorous dialogues, it boasts incredibly catchy music and puzzles for you to solve.

Admittedly, the latter part of the game actually drove me insane due to its dependence on your sharp reflexes. However, when you do manage to overcome it, you feel that special sense of achievement. That satisfying feeling of conquering a challenge, in my opinion, is difficult to recreate and this game did just that.

Though it only took 1.4 hours to complete the entire game and get all the achievements, it was a fun ride and all the more reason for you to try it out and give it a shot. To top everything off, did I mention that this game is free to play?

Being my first-ever souls game, I guarantee that from all the other games I have played in the past, this game does not hold your hand; and that is okay. In turn, this opened up an experience like no other. Featuring mind-boggling game-level design which will leave you in awe, regular enemies that can easily kill you if you're too greedy or careless and boss battles that are not afraid to leave you in a pit of despair.

The gaming community loathes the sheer difficulty of Dark Souls and I can confirm it is indeed difficult. No other game has ever boiled blood in my veins more than Dark Souls. However, no other game has made me more patient and resilient than Dark Souls. The best feeling in the world is seeing that VICTORY ACHIEVED after seeing countless YOU DIED screens. This game rewards you for thinking smart rather than mindlessly pummeling through hoards of enemies. Continue in the correct mindset, Dark Souls becomes surprisingly easy.

I am honestly glad I played this game. In the past, I have been avoiding this game like the plague just because it is known to be a difficult game to play. Do not make the same mistake as I did and give this game a chance. For sure it will be a challenging journey but I guarantee there is nothing more satisfying than finally beating this game and seeing the credits roll before your eyes.

CS:GO Review
Unplayable ever since the Free-to-Play update. If you think the cheating issue was a problem before, it just got worse. It is impossible to have a single match without atleast a cheater in it. Unless Valve takes action, expect a lot of actual players permanently signing off. Do yourselves a favour and start off the new year by not playing this game.

R.I.P CS:GO 2012-2018.

WARNING:
I may have unknowingly snuck in a few subtle spoilers while spontaneously writing this, so heads up.

Thoughts:
This is the 3 episodic prequel to the award-winning title Life is Strange™. Since I pre-ordered the standard edition several months back, I still need to wait for Episode 3 as of this review. Nevertheless, the first two episodes were enough to get me started.

The voice change didn't really bother me as much further into the game (you get used to it) but I still felt it didn't give the same personality to these characters. At times, it somewhat made the dialogue kind of awkward (or maybe it's just Chloe's weird sense of humour). I like how they changed the way you select options in-game like - Look, Select, Graffiti with the WASD keys instead of dragging your mouse. I found the "dragging" in the first game confusing and quite a hassle in the beginning. There are technical difficulties in this game where in some instances - subtitles were left to repeat, glitches in sound and the occassional bugs. Hopefully future patches will fix all of this.

Nevertheless, I am glad this prequel was made. One of my biggest curiosities (as well as many others) in the first game was the history between Rachel and Chloe. We really dive into their relationship in this game and here we can see first-hand why the loss of Rachel in the first game was a devastating one to Chloe. Apart from this, it really is wonderful to see the other characters in their younger years too. An insight to the Blackwell before Max came back.

The biggest change (in my opinion) was the removal of the time-travel element. In the first game, this was a luxury given to us in the role of Max. Whenever we come face to face with a choice (important or not), we can simply rewind if we didn't like the choice we've made. In this game, Chloe (obviously) doesn't have that power. This means every choice you make is a more permanent one. This isn't necessarily a bad thing either. It makes us more wary of the choices we make and the consequences our choices hold. Which I feel ultimately makes the game more exciting.

It is not a 'Life is Strange' game without the constant ride of emotions. This game so far, reminds us what makes the first game great. Here, we are Chloe. We see first-hand how her problems affect her. Sometimes from the choices we are given, non of it are good ones. We can see step-by-step how she changed to the Chloe we know in the first game. Even her main ability is non-other than 'back talking' (which I find hilarious).

Conclusion:
Even though Episode 3 hasn't come out yet, I am confident enough to say that this is a game worth playing.

If you're wondering why "Psychological Horror" is tagged to something this cutesy and light-hearted; believe me, it has every reason for being there.

Without giving much away, it's best played BLIND.

Worst game I've had the misfortune of playing. Even the trading cards aren't worth more than 2 gems. Also, the fact that every playable character attempts to walk like a Kardashian (regardless of gender) is a little concerning.

This game doesn't even deserve an in-depth review.

To be frank, I bought this game for the sake of easy achievements and for the achievement showcase. However, this game proved to be more than that.

Zup! is unexpectedly addicting. Each level offers a new type of challenge. Even though it's quite simple, it keeps you yearning for more. It offers a unique physics puzzle to solve for each level. All you need to do is click and hope the box falls in the right place. Usually, trial and error is frustrating but in this game, it is surprisingly enjoyable. Since this game is fairly short, it is very lightweight (you can run it on almost any system), and priced at nearly free.

TL;DR
I highly recommend this to everyone. Along with an addicting game, you get a splendid achievement showcase and easy 100% achievements. Not to mention, it has plenty of sequels out there to look forward to.
