I know it's really hard to get working on modern systems but all u need its here https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Alone_in_the_Dark_(2008) and it works ok.
Can't say I ever played a game like this with so many strange ideas maybe they are not everybody's cup of tea but i'm really surprised by how much i like it. I recommend giving this game a shot if u want to play something weird.

EDIT : I recommend play it with a controller if u don't have one it would not be a nice time

Forgotten Sands is one of the best games in the Prince of Persia series, very underrated. The acrobatic platforming is amazing, mixing up powers like freezing water, making parts of the ruins reappear and rewinding time, some sequences are hard and may require flawless timing. Sadly, the story is not the best with some average combat but I do recommend this game.

Deadfall Adventures is a good fun cool blend of FPS shooting , adventure with a decent selection of puzzles. It's not a bad game by any means, but had so much potential to be great. If your looking for an Indiana Jones first person shooter look no further.

I absolutely loved Fallout New Vegas, yes its more of the same but the story is more engaging , I enjoyed the expanded equipment roster, tons of locations and the companions were not half bad. An excellent game, spent hours scavenging and exploring the endless amounts of loot. If you can get past the technical hurdles , it's a heckuva gaming experience.

The game has a good creepy atmosphere and is more about sneaking, investigating and researching than shooting, the save system makes many sequences very difficult. You should always try to consider shooting as a last resort. Your bullets are very limited in this game. What I loved about it was the atmosphere. Put on your headphones, shut down the lights and let the madness begin.
