If you haven't already played the original mirrors edge from 2009 don't bother buying this game since a game that came out over 10 years ago is still leagues ahead of it in every way.

The most annoying thing about it is its pacing. A game that tries to be about parkour and movement shouldn't try so hard to base its difficulty around forcing your to be patient and slow down as much as this game does with its levels. The puzzles are a pointless addition to the game that further slows it to a halt and provides nothing of value.

Sound design is awful it feels really half baked and the music is completely forgettable. This wouldn't matter so much for me if I wasn't finding myself so bored trying to finish a 5 hour game that I needed to blast my own music and basically mute it.

Story is forgettable, you're just some forgettable video game protagonist and you should probably just ignore all the story stuff.

At the very least maybe have more than like 5 hours of content for a $30 game? Just play mirror's edge and thank me later.
