1080TI, 32GB RAM, i5-4690K @ 4GHZ
Runs like ♥♥♥♥, I know I have a slightly dated CPU but come on. The menu alone throttled the CPU, crashed multiple times in customization, was in a party and tried to join a game, stayed on "Loading Map 35%" for about 10 minutes before I ALT-F4'd.

From what I hear the gameplay is Halo, but the progression is scummy. I wouldn't know - I never got to play. But I did earn 3 achievements while in the menus. What a fantastic waste of my Saturday night.

A lot of fun to start, but after about 3 hours I got in to a grove where there was no challenge.
Would love to see more, but it's currently shallow. To be fair, it's early access.

Unless you have a good group of peeps to play with, mute the chat, mute voice, enjoy the game.

RTS, simple mechanics, fun with friends. Would play again.

At first, it's boring but then it has potential for some interesting strategy.
There is a luck element, the skill is working around the luck. You won't always get the heroes you want, you need to know when you have to redraft in order to survive.
Just watching the AI fight is a little frustrating, sometimes there are stupid moves that get made and you have to alter your formation to sort of alter how they deploy during the fight phase.

The problem with this game is the late late game. As the meta in Dota goes, everyone tries to play the same carries, the same rule applies in Underlords. If the game lasts past round 30, everyone is going to be spamming the same high ranking heroes because there is a point in the upgrade path where comp no longer matters and you can just steam roll. That sucks.
Most games I've played end before round 30, but it's something to consider about the balancing.

The games last as long as Dota. I probably shouldn't be playing it, it's a huge time sink, but I can't seem to stop.

If you're intimidated by dwarf fortress get this. If you used to play dwarf fortress and you're looking for something more casual, this is it. But you'll just want to play dwarf fortress while playing this, I marathoned about 25~ hours of this before deciding to pick up dwarf fortress again.
