criminally underrated

if you are a fan of the books, play this game.

edit after beating the whole thing:

Not everything is perfect, the difficulty curve is kind of strange, there's a couple of hard fights early on, but then you get a bunch of absolute braindead puzzles and battles on later chapters.

There's also a problem with how resources scale with difficulty. If you play everything on Bonebreaker (which i recommend because it's more fun) I suggest you turn it down to Adventurer to loot stuff after battles, or else you'll barely get enough resources to upgrade a third of your camp or get new cards. I've read you used to get more on the highest diff, if that's the case, this change was a mistake in my opinion.

Other than that, the game is gorgeous, the music is great and following this part of the story that we didn't see much of in the books is really cool, also visiting so many places that we had only heard of before this game.

+ Narrative and dialog is really good, in a goofy way.

- Combat gets repetitive after a few hours (specially if you go for 100% completion. I didn't, but it looks like a grind)
