Very rarely do I write reviews on games - but wow this one really needed it. This game, in short, just takes all the fad ♥♥♥♥ found in other big shooters and just bundles it. The pivot from specific roles (assault, engineer, support, recon) to operators feels like a desecration to the spirit that battlefield used to have, not to mention the immense lack of both weapons and attachments, that of which can be found in most prior battlefield titles.

Game was fun for a few hours, but grew very stale very fast - it just feels like rather than trying to define it's own place on the sort of casual but still semi-serious tone, it tries to emulate the same rinse and repeat feeling that the entire call of duty franchise has.

Quite frankly skip spending money on this sad cash cow, and go pick up Battlefield 4. Similar setting. Better mechanics. Same bugs. And the decade+ older game not only performs better, but just straight up plays better.
