As free to play its great until its not.

Levelling, grinding all is part of every great MMO RPG, PVE is good, pvp is great until you hit a pay to win credit card warrior with infinite amount of money ( probably took a mortgage out for this ).

most servers are dead too by now.

Love it! My wife loves it and My kid will love it !

I do not recommend. For the brick that you download this is just not worth the time.

well despite my review that this game at this point is just tears and sadness .
At this point in game when im writing this coment is like this .
# you are new to ATLAS you load the game then you log in to one of the main starting areas (if you can due to many lost connections you spend 3 hours on that )
# you instantly spot this game is similar or copy of ARK , means gather , craft , tame , survive .
# after you have gathered materials for your Raft some storage and found the way to have like 5 water skins on you to not die of thirst you will still die due to lack of Vitamin .
# After you have died few times and gathered all the recources to set sail remember to die one last time so you can easy sail further before running out of Vitamin or Thirst .
# Now that you vojaged on your Raft past all the Ghost ships to a near by island (yess ghost ships are scary but jet they do not agro on the Raft ) you will be like i will claim this land start my build on the bigger Ship i want more space more speed .
# Just NO -> you die from Snake -> Aligators -> Voltures -> Wolves -> Lions
# Now after you somehow managed to fight them off died like 5 times and your raft is still alive you set sail for another island becouse this is too much to take care of all the Hostiles .
# Now you come across a land with one hostile animal you kill it off start gathering and building you Ship after long time depend if you are alone or not it takes time for us we vare 4 people gathering for Medium ship . took about 6 + hours just for ship + another 2 for drydock .
# Now than we built it itss fully done stocked with materials and food and water and anything you need to survive for longer time even decorated it you know to be nice its PVE server after all you can go extra mile to make it fancy.
# NOP 2 min after releasing it to watter Ghost ship spawns near island and just Shreds it to dust leaving you and your team with nothing more as just sore feeling that after all this work you have nothing . We just quit we closed ATLAS and told maybe another time after a month or two we will try again now its a festering turd in water .
--- This is not fun us 4 wanted a great game to play and explore as friends sail and pirate have some fun this is nothing like it at this point .

If you do buy it, then maybe play when its some what done after a month or two now its not worth downloading it .

Well loging in to your Gmail acount means putting down your VR set and remembering 8 digit code and non the less the adress where to go. And its damm stutery when ever you look around it just shifts and stutters and most content even if it says 8k its damm bad looking .

Go to damb with few friends get shot by robot , respawn on sqad go back to pick up my stuff get shot in face by squad becouse i didnt say it`s me running there. 10/10 fun times :)
