An amazing game, dripping with style, great music, and fun gameplay. My only complaint is that the gameplay can be too easy sometimes and the cops too annoying, but the movement mechanics are fun enough to make up for it by far.

I didn't know what to expect coming in but the cyberpunk aesthetic and chill vibes hooked me in while the writing and special events kept me going.

Unlike the original XCOM, this game focuses more on the individual battles, expanding the capabilities of you and your enemies with additional events and mission types that provide variety instead of just shooting aliens. The base management side takes a small hit, but the rest of the game is fun enough to justify it.

I really enjoyed playing this. Very fun if you enjoy tactics and strategy, taking your time to make the optimal play. The randomness of this game adds to the replayability, keeping you on your toes. No battle is ever truly won or lost until your ship leaves the landing zone, and the base management portion of the game is in-depth with heaps of features.

I don't normally play horror games, but the sense of overwhelming dread and panic that pervades this game combined with crippling loneliness (and space robots) kept me sucked in for the entire playthrough. The puzzles were very fun and intuitive to solve, while the gameplay was well-designed.

A punishing yet viscerally fun game. Every moment of action is teeming with stimulation, and the guns and movement meld well to create insane combos that reward your skilled play with both high damage and high points.

The fun of the game isn't in the story, but its tight gameplay that lends itself well to perfecting a level over and over again, to shave off little bits of time. Perfectionists beware!
