They have still not re-added the 177 delisted regions where PSN is no longer available to Steam for purchase. In fact, they *added* the 3 Baltic states to the list of banned regions that are no longer allowed to buy the game. This is probably in violation of some EU regulations, but also strongly suggests that Sony is going to implement a PSN requirement in the future despite "promises" on Twitter.

So the review has been changed to not-recommended, until they walk back this change. There's no reason to restrict the sale to non-PSN regions unless they plan on adding this requirement back in the future.

EDIT: They have removed the PSN account requirement. Until Further Notice, I am recommending this game for the gameplay and community. It offers a unique blend of chaos, action, and spectacle not found in many other games.

Original review is left for posterity, and a potential warning in case Sony decides to muddy the waters again with their grubby little hands.

Unfortunately, requiring a PSN account months after purchase is not a good look. Cannot recommend, despite the fact that the underlying game is so solid. If they fix this change, I will edit this review.

A surprisingly in-depth simulation, although the lack of proper valve gear is a little irritating, as it results in some slightly unintuitive behavior with the engine that is accurate to the simulation but not what you'd expect from a more normal steam engine setup.

I don't even use mods and I can tell you this is the worst decision. Anti-cheat in a "game" that isn't competitive, with no concrete plans to put any of the features mods provided in the actual game, like performance improvements from FSR, to basic stuff like menu placement and floating mirrors. Will be looking for something else to use as a hangout space in the meantime.

I guess the devs just hate their community. Or something. Their game runs like trash and has basic functionality missing despite being in Early Access for 5 years, but the devs are upset because people get around their draconian limitations on number of favorites with a mod that takes 10 minutes to install?

Saying that EAC will help stop malicious actors by preventing malicious clients is like YouTube saying that the removal of the dislike button helped protect creators and viewers alike from harassment. Total and complete BS.

Waste of time.
