A company uses early access to their advantage, and the result is one of the best factory games in existence.

If you are new to factory games, 10/10 def recc as a first. If you're an old hand at growing the factory, you'll love this too.

Satisfactory fantastic factory builder with a mostly fun twist of a heavy emphasis on exploration in order to exploit. I'd say it technically meets all four x's of eXplore, eXploit, eXpand, and eXterminate, even. Largely the game is intuitive, or well explained. Gorgeous graphics, a story that's growing more interesting the more I uncover, and plenty of humor.

While there are some quality of life changes (the ability to check all of the alternative recipes you've unlocked at once would be excellent for planning without having to keep a pile of notes on my desk for instance, or the factory showing up on the map) that could happen, the game is more than complete. It is polished and the studio is on top of bugs, glitches, and has a high interaction rate with the community.

This studio is a good egg, and this game is a lovely bird.

Early Access Review
It's a farm sim in the vein of many farm sims. It's still in industry standard Open-pay-for-it-Beta aka Early Access and is developing a number of features and adding content but everything you need is there to get at least 20 hours of playtime. Really if you like games like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, and you like the art of Coral Island, there's no reason to not buy and play this game, other than not having the money. The absolute worst thing I can say about this game is the floor is 'okay.' And it's pretty solidly above the floor already while not having all of it's content.

It's quirky and funny already, with a full list of activities, the art is great, the music is so good I wish I could have a player and just have it play the music irregardless of where I am or what I'm doing. Alice is best girl and I want to have a wine empire because I thought the one uber rich lady deserves to have her face rubbed in it on a personal level. Like the Corpo Pufferfish Karen is bad enough, but I don't viscerally dislike her like I dislike the wine lady. Every play through, I'm gunning for her misery and the collapse of their vineyard.

If you don't know if you like this genre, this would be a good one to try it out on.

Early Access Review
I find Hades to be smooth in gameplay, to possess awesome visuals and art, and amazing on the soundtrack. At the time of writing this the main story seems to be fairly limited, straight forward and honest. And all the better for it. But there are bits and pieces of story everywhere. Always look for new conversations and for environmental story markers. It's compelling and always told with a bit of tongue in cheek, wit, and humor.

The only 'complaint' I have that's not nitpicking, but at the same time not a problem, is that some combinations of powers/upgrades are extremely overpowered. On my fourth run through I nearly got to the end of the current game because of stumbling across a very powerful combination of boons.

4/5, as it's incomplete yet better than a number of complete games, would recc.

I quit WoW, FFXIV:ARR, and TESO when I got completely burned out on the MMO scene, and switched to MOBAs. Warframe for a little while, but it didn't really hold my attention. This, sirs and madames, TERA, is so fun that I don't even realize I'm questing or grinding. Hell, -grinding- is fun in this game so far.

I want to play MMOs again, thanks to TERA.

An amazing game that brings back a lot of fantasy nostalgia while still being action packed and full of adventure.
