It's not as good as the base game, but it does have cool new bosses with plenty of spectacle, beautiful environments, a few relatively interesting questlines, and some really fun weapon arts that feel more fluid than anything in the base game.

The bosses are harder and, in my opinion, not as fun. The final boss sucks. The lack of lore and the few cutscenes are extremely disappointing, especially the final ones. Other than the new weapon arts and one questline, I don't think it does anything better than the base game.

Still, it's Elden Ring, so if you enjoyed the base game, you'll likely enjoy the DLC. Just don't expect anything groundbreaking.

It's like Halo 5 meets Knack 2 meets ELDEN RING.

So far seems like a nice little metroidvania. The game keeps throwing new, interesting mechanics at you, with creative puzzles, beautiful art, and very tense moments. I'd play this game for the aesthetic alone, but it is also certainly a competent puzzle platformer.

Also yeah how is this game 34 MB??? How is that even possible nowadays?

Edit: After beating the game, some thoughts: it's pretty fun. Really unique aesthetic, again, the only one of its kind that I've seen. Some of the chase sequences really had me on edge. The puzzles and platforming are not easy, and there's a few places where I wish there was more checkpoints, as a few runbacks were annoying, but it was nothing egregious. As with many metroidvanias, this game will require a lot of backtracking especially if you want to find secrets. A very solid game from start to finish.

An excellent story and a surprisingly immersive game that continually surprises with its twists and dreamlike imagination.

surprisingly fun! playing with mods helps fix some QOL issues, but the base game is already fantastic for exploration and wonder. the world does feel a little empty for how big it is, but there are plenty of interesting landmarks to discover

Game is completely unplayable due to a graphics bug that makes the entire screen bright and flickering. Possibly caused by AMD GPUs.
