I can recommend this game to anyone who loves either Puyo Puyo, Tetris, or both. I will warn you, though, that there are a few issues regarding balances in this game, specifically in relation to garbage.

Garbage appears in Tetris boards as single lines, making each individual piece of garbage more daunting. The more garbage, the more lines, et cetera. The garbage pushes your board upwards from the bottom, letting you make combos.

On the other hand,

Puyo Puyo players are, when put against Tetris players, not going to have as much fun. Garbage comes from the top, and even single units can mess you up. But that's just Puyo Puyo, so it's to be expected. The fun is taken away with how fast a tetris player can deal damage through combos, Tetrises or T-spins, while a Puyo Puyo player is waiting for garbage to fall. When the garbage finally finishes descending, you can place one to two puyo pairs before the next set of garbage falls, if the Tetris player is good enough.

Don't worry, though; this doesn't mean Puyo Puyo vs Tetris isn't fun. Sometimes, they have the longest games, and they can be quite interesting! Two puzzles collide into one decently executed amalgamation. This game is also a lot of fun with friends that play with you, so always consider that as an option!

I recommend this game both for gameplay and atmosphere, though I'll focus on the latter.

Let me preface this by stating my initial experience with this game was lackluster. I'd played the original demo, which as far as I know, is no longer available. It was atmospheric, just like the game itself, though it felt empty; just a small grinding simulator, with no real insight into what the game was going to be. Which was fine, for some people, but I enjoy games for story value more than how they are played.

So, when a friend linked me to this page and told me to try the new demo, I was hesitant, but ended up adoring it. The atmosphere of this game shows in each of its facets; the characters and world building worked with its nostalgia-inducing pixel style. And, the music, of course. The number of animation and detail going into every little piece of this world is beyond extraordinary. It captures the business of the world, being an online game, by giving it that 'gogogo' feeling; adding sprinting players, along with giving them chat bubbles not initiated by the player.

The story will keep you captivated, mostly after the initial tutorial phase. The protagonist, Lea, has no memories or... Effective means of communication. The only twist is that, the only way Lea can be conscious, is by playing Crossworlds, which is the world this takes place in.

And after you see one of the first scenes of her interacting with a player, if you're anything like me, you're hooked.

I won't go into much more detail, story-wise; that's for you to savor. Regardless, this game has pristine beauty in most of itself, and its titles such as these that do so much justice to Early Access games. An easy maximum score. (Kenny, don't come for me. I'll send you the Girls.)

Alrighty, so with recent updates, the game works to a much farther extent. It's quite enjoyable, now that I can actually make it work. The aspect of getting better at various tasks as you do them more often is definitely a plus that brings it away from Terraria, as it is commonly compared to. Another thing about it is that it's a sandbox game that has a lore. And it's fairly interesting, though somewhat tedious to collect. Despite this, it becomes much more inspiring to keep playing.

Okay, I'll just list the pros and cons to begin.
Pros:
Clean, smooth graphics and sounds
Amazing soundtrack, fitting maps and characters greatly
Bittersweet storyline, showing what dreams can achieve
Cute, modest characters
Customized playstyle

Cons:
Though easier than Suguri, still difficult
Unforgiving to beginners in Bullet Hells
You only see Militant Sora once

Just saying, this game is great. Get it if you're into these types of games. (Or into adorable anime games.)
