I like this game, it can be really fun at times, I like the gore and the attention to detail they paid to the weapons, animations and such... but I just cannot recommend this game for the following reasons (And no it doesn't include the anti-cheat being ♥♥♥♥, the servers being full and such):

1) Lack of content. After around 15 hours of game time you'll feel like you've seen it all honestly, the game becomes tedious and repetitive. Sure there is a certain variety of enemies and missions you can do, but like I said: You get to see it all in about 15 hours, which is very measly for a fully released 40€ game. They tried adding the MGS V element with the character animations and calling in supplies and support, with a really crappy stealth mechanic where you can "sneak" around the bugs/bots, but all these missions devolve into the same crappy run and gun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the end once you're spotted, there is no actual merit to stealth, you can't stealth complete a mission, it's merely denying the inevitable shooting and scooting.

2) An obvious Deep Rock Galactic rip-off. The idea where you fight bugs and robots was obviously taken from Deep Rock Galactic, instead the developers could've added something new like aliens or demons.. something original to fight and not just the same formula all over again.

3) Bugs. From losing your primary/secondary weapon for the whole round to losing precious samples which you've spent the whole game picking up, this game has it all! Massive problems when picking stuff up from the ground, you're always running the risking of either losing the item on the ground or losing the item you were holding in your hands. Problems with losing a magazine and having to reload all over again because an enemy hit you whilst reloading, a life and death scenario.

3.5) Non-functional armor. How the hell do you release a game with an armor system that doesn't even work???

4) Uneccessary summary screens. At the end of each round you'll be greeted by a long unskippable summary screen where it slowly shows you what you've accomplished during the round and tells you how much XP and Credits you've earned. It's like the game was made specifically for people with a missing frontal lobe, which requires them to have a constant dopamine income to have any attention span at all. Laughable!

In Summary: for 40€ this game offers you roughly 15 hours of content, more if you really suck at the game or stick to playing lower difficulties with lower rewards, it's filled with bugs which can sabotage your experience quite well after they repeat themselves a couple of times.

For a fully released game with only having hype behind it I cannot recommend it right now. I hope they'll fix the bugs and add something more worthwhile.

1) More missions were added along with stratagems, enemies and weapons.
2) Helldivers 1 came out before Deep Rock...if it's a ripoff of any kind, it would be Starship Troopers.
3) Valid, but I haven't experienced many myself
3,5) works on enemies from my experience, the infantry suits are feeling the same, true.
4 It has beed sped up a bit, but OK
