while some of the games here fall a bit flat (don't really like junktopia, never even played nonsensory since it never intrigued any of my groups, and quixort has a tendency to give one team a trivial prompt that seals their victory), the last 2 truly save it.

the return of fibbage with new prompts and formats and a revamped enough about you (i depised the absolutely promptless one truth/one lie of 3's F:EAY) is an absolute joy to see, and is currently uncontested for most euphoric prompt in a jackbox game for me (i'd like to see another game give me 16,000 points from a single final round)

roomerang is quite good at making people come up with a bit on the spot or spotlight an existing one with the whole "roles" gimmick. the flow of the game is also quite nice, even if i do end up always losing with 0 points from my group ganging up on me

game by game review:
tee ko 2: similar to its predecessor but still great fun nonetheless. tbh not much to say
fixy text: honestly, i really like this one! whenever i play i tend to just completely ignore the points system and just use it as a way to tell dumb bits with friends or see how badly we can break the tts
dodo re mi: works suprisingly well despite being a rhythm game played over wi-fi. and honestly, every player being able to pick their own difficulty on any given song is a very good feature that i don't see in a lot of games (to my best knowledge, osu!lazer doesn't support it and that's a proper rhythm game!)
hypnotorious: i don't fully vibe with this one, but i can still appreciate its creativeness and the interesting game design nonetheless, and the groups i usually play with seem to like it
time jinx: this one just fully falls flat. it's a trivia game and worst of all it's on my most beloathed form of trivia, dates.

overall: a decent enough pack. personally would reccomend most if you're already "the guy with jackbox" in your friend group and are willing to quickly switch in for a few games. or if you want to grind out dodo re mi that too

a nice short story that you really have nothing to lose by playing. with a playtime of well under an hour it's impressive how ID5 can still tell something quite compelling

unfortunately matching with randoms seems quite unlikely, so you'll need to rope some firends in too, but once you have someone to play with the game's really fun

I found the game quite fun, but i did have two small issues:
1. In the level editor, the "Save As" and "Load" don't seem to do anything for me (on steam deck in desktop mode)
2. I'd appreciate a keybind to snap to a specific sort of 3d-plane, like XYW for example (the game 4D Miner does this pretty well in my opinion, with the keybind Ctrl-X-W achieveing the result in the example)
