When I was in seventh grade I LOVED star wars. I watched the OT on repeat all year. Empire Strikes back in my mind was the best movie. Return of the Jedi was a banger. My brother kept saying they were only cult hits and I'd be like uh no and he was like they've only got that one good movie on the one trilogy.

So then summer 1998, still no new star wars. I made my birthday wish that Star Wars would NOT be a one hit wonder. That next spring they released The Phantom Menace with their biggest character ever, Jar Jar Binks.

So I guess what I'm saying is, I spent all my birthday wish magic on Jar Jar Binks. And I'm not mad about it
