I have only played the game once in vanilla and it took all these hours to start as a tall kingdom, conquer the HRE, destroy the byzantine empire, almost lose it all to the mongolian hordes but fix it easy by just capturing their capital. And after that the I lag crawled my way to just conquer any and all of the world being able to pay all the mercenaries at all time so none of my enemies could. The only issue was my massive family and sometimes having to survive a child emperor. 10/10 would conquer again.

Early Access Review
This game slows you down after a hectic day or just before you need to go to bed. It looks pretty and it is easy to understand the mechanics. I like to take my time and learn how to become better but even when I fail I don't feel as frustrated as with other games.

I have been playing and complaining about this game since 2013. I come back and have fun every time. The grind is very stupid and you can advance faster if you invest some money but it is not pay to win. And I really like to improve myself everytime that I play.

Made me cry, took a long time to start on episode 4 when I finished episode 3. Was worth the wait. Will take another year before I play this again but I know I will. For now I wil buy before the storm and play that. I am expecting a lot. This is the best story I have played. I really felt like a part of all of it.

Nostalgia! I love this game! Take a step back in time and experience an old way of gaming. This is quality entertainment! Be prepared and take a paper and pencil to make notations and solve al the puzzles.

Fun wears of really quickly. Instead of challenging the game keeps repeating itself and becomes quite boring. Completing the puzzles doesn't feel rewarding at all but more like a chore. I played because I payed. Not recommended unless it's 99 cents or less.

It's a simple vertical scrolling runner game with a nice soundtrack. It's not to hard and I have yet to find the microtransactions the negative reviewers are talking about. It's good enough to pass some time like during lunch breaks or if you have to wait for something else. The soundtrack is nice but I wished that there were more than 4 songs. I also wish there were more ships and crew to choose from to keep it more interesting.
I have enjoyed myself and that's what matters to me. Recommended for passing time, but hey you can also read a book or play one of the gazillion other games in the world.

To keep it short: I liked the graphics the story and the gameplay mechanics. The only thing I thought could use some improvement were the puzzles/tombs. These could be more complex in my opinion.

To get a little more in depth: I haven't played tomb raider since the first one on the ps1. My interest in Tomb Raider 2013 was created by seeing the name and hearing it while looking for graphic card benchmarks. After looking in to it I saw a game that looked great and I decided to experience the story myself. I was not dissapointed. The game litteraly sucked me in to it and did not let me go until I finished it. And that took me about 2 weeks. Where I mostly switch games every day and hour this game deserved to be an exception. I truly love the visuals on normal settings. And the voice acting with corresponding character movements were great as well. As for Lara, the main character I was very satisfied with the way she is modeled. Not like the ones I used to know from the ps1 the movie and game reviews as a big boobed sex bomb. But like a beatiful, smart and strong athletic young woman.
Another plus is for the choices of weapons. There are not to much weapons but they are nice and balanced in strength and ammo supplies. My last point about the puzzles or tombs is that I would love to see them more complex and longer. I finished most within 5 minutes and think that they should have been a more important part of the game with a little backstory.

Now I am looking forward to purchase the sequel when the price is right in a sale.
