Tribe Nine was more than just a game...it was an experience.

Tribe Nine took what the Anime had and built upon it to incredible heights never before seen. The gameplay was phenomenal, the rewards were attainable and incredibly rewarding (perhaps too much so), but where Tribe Nine really shone brightest was in it's characters and story. The story was incredible engaging, unique, and rich in every aspect. The characters were well built, one of a kind, and free from "gooner" aspects you would see in typical gacha games. On top of it all, they had colorful skins for each characters attainable through payment or through your own grinding/gacha luck. Akatsuki let it's greed take over and millions suffered from it...

Truly, Tribe Nine was an amazing game taken from us far too soon. It was full of potential to keep growing, but I can't help but mourn the loss of this game like no other. I learned a lot from this game, related to the characters, and got to meet and bond with one of the most wonderful and kindest communities I've possibly ever met. The only way to describe this game is phenomenal, but unfortunate. I am very happy to see the community come together to preserve what they can and also the work of NeoNeon helping to continue growing the seeds planted by the game.

I will never forgive Akatsuki games...but I will never forget Tribe Nine.

♡ Thank you for the memories, Tribe Nine Forever... ♡

Do NOT play this game. Possibly one of the worst games I have ever played. I do not typically write reviews and I will not go into detail, but there are aspects about this game that are not mentioned on the steam page. Even though the steam version is censored, there is still text that you read that is horrible. I am all for horror and welcome psychological horror with open arms. Gore does not bother me. THIS did bother me. The characters face little growth, especially the women (reducing them to mere play things while the men do not get the same treatment). Messed up in the worst of ways. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS GAME!!! If you want a good psychological horror game play soma. If you want one with cute girls, then just play dokidoki or miside. This is terrible.

Worst thing I've ever spent my money on. I can only hope that steam allows me a refund, despite playing for more than 2 hours.

Slime Rancher is a series that continues to never disappoint. The first game is phenomenal and the long awaited sequel is no different. The second game brings back many familiar aspects that fans of the first will remember and be excited to see, such as NPCs, Slimes, Materials, and decorations. Visually, this game is an absolute masterpiece, leaving you gasping when you first see the new area. It takes this step even farther, pushing the player into a world filled with environmental story telling. The music is gentle and cozy, similar to the first game. Overall, you can tell immediately that this game had a lot of love and care put into it.

The main difference in Slime Rancher 2 is the exploration. While the first game excelled at exploration, the second takes it to another level. You will discover secrets, new slimes, and the change that's most different: materials. The materials tend to be a double edged sword, making players work to find the items they need. At times, this can be frustrating when you want to build new items. This is probably my main and only complaint about this game, but it is not all bad. Don't lose hope and don't give up! Finding materials this way is part of the fun, leaving you a way to learn and engage with your environment. While I love the first slime rancher, this one focuses more on this aspect in order to engage you in the environmental storytelling. I often would find myself in the first game with too many materials very early on without enough places for it. For me, this made me explore less and less as I would only teleport where I needed to be when I needed to be. It has it's own charm, and I do enjoy it still, however I really enjoyed that this game allowed me to go out more and experience the land first hand more than I ever had before.

The story is something you have to experience for yourself. Very quickly you begin to something for the characters and the land that you have found yourself on. I do believe this is better enjoyed with knowledge of the first game, so please bear this in mind. The story telling not only relies on characters, but HEAVILY relies on the world around you. You find yourself curious how this place came to be as you slowly begin uncovering the secrets after living on this new land for days or months. At the very end, I found myself in tears of joy. I hadn't experienced something so heartwarming in a while and found myself with more questions once again.

I have completed the game, but there's still more I'd like to do and can't wait to open another save file for myself in the future. I can tell this is a game I will enjoy just as much if not more than the first game and will continue to enjoy for years to come. Slime Rancher as a series is filled with love and wraps you up in your own safe haven filled with friends and smiling faces for all ages. Thank you Monomi Park for this lovely experience. I cannot wait to experience more later. If you are looking for a reason to play this game...this is it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

...Stay Wiggly~
