While there are some extremely stupid/frustrating rules and decisions, poorly balanced areas and monsters, and laughably bad writing, I still think the game is fantastic but definitely feels like an early access experience. Which is really whats holding it back currently. There are parts of the game that are literally blocked off with a WIP Sign and it feels just really out of place and stupid. The quests are pretty boring and run of the mill but offer a nice distraction from the story, although sometimes the requirements for a quest are locked behind a very uncommon TemTem encounter and really don't justify the work for the rewards you end up getting. That and the clothing shop is just absolutely a joke, I don't understand why the clothing is so insanely expensive it makes literally no sense. The clothing, at least the first time you encounter the clothes shop, aren't even that attractive or desirable, they just look like your average default gear. By far the dumbest design decision is the evolving system, which doesn't evolve your TemTem at specific levels, but instead by how many levels theyve accrued while in your party, meaning higher level TemTems are naturally harder to evolve, and also meaning that I just forgot what level the TemTem was when I caught it so I really had no idea when the heck it was going to evolve. I do like how every battle is a double battle though, making good use of some moves that are powered up simply by having a TemTem of the right typing on the field. The game has the potential to be really really good but needs finishing. Obviously. I want chat, I want them to let up on the downright retarded censorship (basically club penguin levels of censorship), I want the clothing prices to be nerfed and I want FAINTED CURSE REMOVED THANKS.
