Overall, I'll consider Core Keeper as a fun game.

I haven't touched it for almost 3 weeks now though. I feel like I got to the point where the exploration felt tedious especially when I went further and further away from the core. Maybe it'd be better when playing with friends? 🤷‍♂️ I played solo though.

I hope more QoL updates will be released.

There are a lot of items that can be used for decoration, or valuables that can be sold for coins. But the variations are just too many that when exploring it is hard to avoid them from filling up my inventory. So, it gets really tedious having to constantly micro-manage the inventory or go back to the core/base just to sell/store items.

I thought about creating alternate base near the teleport waypoint thingy, but last time I tried the NPC didn't respawn to my newly created room. I also tried to see if the teleport waypoint thingy is removable, but last time I tried it's not. Maybe I still don't have enough mining damage 🤷‍♂️.

Still in Early Access. Somehow the game crashes quite frequently while playing Duo. So that's kinda annoying.

Pretty sure this game won't get any more updates after the DJMax Respect for PC announcement. But still a fun game nevertheless.

After 1.2 PATCH
This patch makes the game much more "mainstream", a stupid decision by the developer.
STUPID.

I recommended this game ONLY IF you have a LOT of patience, especially if you don't want to pay with real money.

CONS
> Pay2win.
> Weapon tier = sucks.
> Sniper ezpz hide behind walls and 1 hit kill.
> Lag, sometimes bad 'netcode'.
> Matchmaking sometimes took too long.
> Bad cover system. Depends on where you hide, shooting while behind cover sometimes will makes you shoot the wall...

PROS
> Good team coordination still can win against pay2win players
> ...?
> Fun?

OTHER THOUGHTS
> The game mechanic is quite unique for online shooter genre, so despite all the cons, I enjoyed it even without purchase anything with real money.
> New players might have some issue with how the aiming works. But after a while you'll get used to it.
> Pray that you got a good team-mates with a tactical sense.
> If you want to run & gun like CoD, this game is NOT for you.
