Game has an amazing progression system, one of the best I've seen. You unlock new content by killing the boss of your current biome progress. This unlocks new features in new biomes as well as in the biome level you have previously tamed. Game has a great aesthetic for building as well. Can't do anything too crazy due to the stability system and you are limited by the viking aesthetic, but in some ways that is a good thing. Being limited to the viking/fantasy type of building style makes it easier for you to actually get to work building rather then sitting around deliberating like you might do building in other games like Minecraft for example. Boss fights are fun but still need work, Moder is extremely glitchy for example. I like the mobs and fighting system generally, I just wish they would expand the star tier mob system more. It would be nice if higher star enemies had new movement patterns or could come with attribute types, for example a two star greydwarf could randomly have a frost or poison attribute. A three star deer could have Eikythr's moveset and attack, etc. As the world progresses through boss', higher star enemies should spawn in the older biomes. Maybe each time you kill a boss after the initial time can increase the spawn chance of higher star enemies in its respective biome? Would be more engaging to farm greydwarf eyes in this way rather then a spawner farm or something for example.

Overall great game that I would recommend to anybody. It has fighting, crafting, building, exploring, cooking, and many other avenues of enjoyability without being overwhelming. It makes it a great experience for large friend groups with people that like different types of gaming, small groups, and solo players alike.

Great way to support a game that I have followed and has kept me sexually satisfied for two years now. Just know that this DLC is basically just a way to give money to the developers, don't expect any in game content other then the skins.
