Back in the day...
Since is not common habit in my country to get a game copy legally, people have no choice. Buying original is tremendeously expensive. So we got we want ... illegaly.

Nowadays Steam is here...
The question should be "Why I Like Steam Sales?"
well why not?

You get your ORIGINAL game cheaper and lot of steam featured such as badge, trading card, market, etc. This change my perspective to better appreciate the work of creative software like game.
